Forging more new partners

The foundation are always looking for ways to expand our activities for the benefit of our community, and to also work with new partners

Yesterday our Head of Operations Tom Sellers, and Assistant Head of Operations, Jamie McCord, met with the CEO Kieran McMahon, and Tustee Nick Clarke, from Disability Stockport

They discussed ways of working in partnership with them, to have more inclusive sports and activities throughout the community

Tom and Jamie have already had discussions with Matt Scott from Disability Stockport ,and their autism ambassador David Wright, about setting up pan disability weekly drop-in sessions, and also joining in our existing walking football sessions, which take place every Friday

Final details to follow, but the pan disability taster sessions are scheduled to start running on a Tuesday morning from August between 11 and 12 at Brinnington Park

The Foundation looks forward to working closely with Disability Stockport and forging a long term relationship with them, to help improve a wide range of inclusive activities for the borough
